What you can publish

  • Looks: sets you tried on here, on your own hand or the hand of someone who agreed. Crop to the hand before you publish.
  • Styles: nail designs you made in the style editor, by hand or with AI.
  • Concepts: five styles and a shape, designed on the 3D hand.
  • Collections: styles, concepts and looks you gathered and made public.
  • Art you own or may use: your own drawings and photos, or art whose licence lets you use it.

What we remove

  • nudity or sexual content, and anything that sexualises or endangers minors;
  • faces and other people, where they can be avoided: crop to the hand;
  • private information, such as names, addresses, phone numbers, documents or screens;
  • hate symbols, slurs, and content that attacks people for who they are;
  • violence, gore, weapons, drugs and self-harm;
  • brand logos, trademarks and characters you do not own or have a licence for;
  • someone else’s work published as your own, instead of a remix;
  • text, links, ads, promotions and spam in images, titles, tags, handles or names;
  • harassment and impersonation;
  • anything off-topic: On My Nails is for nails.

How review works

Everything you publish is checked before anyone else sees it. While it is checked it shows In review, to you only. Most items pass in moments; some wait for a person on our team.

An item that does not pass shows Removed, to you only. It stays in your Studio; it is not public. A style that is removed disappears from every concept that uses it, and those nails show “Style removed” until their owners pick another.

An edit to a public style is checked too. Until it passes, everyone sees the last checked version. Titles, tags, handles and names are checked before they are saved.

Reports and blocks

Every style, concept, look, profile and collection has Report. Pick a reason, including “Copied without credit”. Our team reviews reports and may remove the item, hide it, reset a handle, or limit an account. We do not tell the other account who reported it.

Block hides an account’s looks, styles, concepts and collections from you. They are not told. You can unblock in Settings, Blocked accounts.

Remix and credit

Remix is how you build on someone else’s work. It opens a copy in the editor that says “Remixed from title by @handle”, and that credit stays on its page. The source shows how often it was remixed. Credit is automatic and cannot be removed.

Every style has a reference like handle@slug. Use it in your concepts freely: the style stays its author’s. Recreating someone’s style by hand and publishing it as your own is not a remix; report it with “Copied without credit”.

Repeated breaks

Accounts that keep breaking these guidelines may lose the ability to publish, or be suspended. See the terms.
